History of the company

History and perspectives

In December 2005, creative team at the head of Vycheslav Lysenko, after they gained considerable experience in doing business with China, decided to found a company-bridge that connects businessmen of China and Ukraine. The main purpose of that bridge is to offer full service to the companies that do business in China and Ukraine. The idea was based on the understanding of the great potential of the Chinese economy, which attracts many businessmen from our country.

In February, 2006, being guided by the needs of dynamic modern market and by the wish to offer qualitative service, our company established our own representative office in the large Chinese port center - city Shantou. It has allowed to offer our clients new services on research of the Chinese commodity market, arrangement of business relations with manufacturers, and control of the shipments. We established our second representative office in Ninbo, port and exhibition center, in June, 2006.

At the moment, the traffic from China that we control has increased many times. In China our commitments serve more then 20 experts and the number constantly increases. The objects of the employees from representative offices are: search of the manufacturer of the needed production, under the contract shipment quality and quantity control, package integrity and container reliability control. Heads of the representative offices are our nationals, who have lived there for several years and know the country very well. They are experts, who know cultural and ethnic peculiarities of the country, how to do business in China, secrets of arrangement of long-term partnership with Chinese companies. Their role in the development of the company can hardly be overestimated.

In 2007, we are going to establish our representative offices in Guangzhou and Beijing. These representatives will move our company to a new level of development, and will open new possibilities to our clients. Kiev stuff represents clients’ interests in Ukraine and offers mediation in problem solving in China. Today it is 5 experts on foreign economic activity and 2 customer relations managers. By the end of 2007, we plan to offer work to 6-7 foreign economic activity experts and 10 customer relations managers, including regional representatives.

In this way, owing to competently selected team, planning and effective management of the Ukr-China Communication Ltd., we managed to occupy considerable place in the segment of service, connected with trading relations between China and Ukraine. The progress of the year 2006 allow us to consider Japan, Taiwan and India to be countries, interesting for our clients and, correspondingly, for us. We can consider countries of CIS and European countries to be our potential clients as well. Moreover, we are ready to offer help to our partners in Ukraine and China in product and raw material export from Ukraine.

Personnel policy

Personnel policy is founded on the objects, priorities and plans for the development, which are set as to the company by the founders and officials. The object of our company in the sphere of personnel policy is a team, where every employee shares our striving for success and connects his or her professional and personal growth with the growth and achievements of the company.

We fight not only for clients, but also for the most talented and hard-working people, people with ideas, enthusiasm, ability to solve tasks that are set before them, responsibility for the work and results. At the heart of the strategy of HR management the next principle lies: Personnel is the main asset of the company, which has to be supported, developed, consolidated and strengthened. That’s why the programs for personnel development are supported by significant budgets.

We purposefully create conditions in which person can study, improve his or her abilities and skills, where every member of the group is capable to realize his or her potential and reach outstanding results. For this purpose, heads of all levels aspire to be involved with thoughts and offers of the employees. A transparent system for assessment and compensation for the personnel is worked up. Different programs of training and development of the personnel, which are based on the detailed analyses of the training necessity, are elaborated and implemented as well. Our object is to become one of the best employers in our market segment.

Customer relations ethics

Ukr-China Communication Ltd. is the company focused on the client. We appreciate, respect and love our clients. If there were no clients, who needed our services, there wouldn’t be our company. Every our client is unique. We practise the principle of the individual approach to every client. We don’t have two similar customers, orders or frights. It doesn’t mean that we invent a wheel every time. We use earlier developed decisions, our experience and contacts to the maximum, when we fill the order, but every client will get enough information and every fright will get enough attention from our employees.

Work in the spirit of respect and partnership. By respecting our clients, we expect them to respect us and listen to our recommendations and advice in their turn. We do not claim to the thorough knowledge of the individual peculiarities of the client’s business, but our experience on establishing business relation with Chinese manufacturers carries some weight. We think that the client should trust us in the area of our competence, and we aspire to return a hundredfold. Resolving the contradiction. In any sphere of work there can arise contradictions between partners. In a majority of disputable situations connected with cargo transportation risks and responsibility for the quality of the service, we try to meet the wishes of our clients. But it is necessary to understand that we are a commercial organization, one of the objects of which is to profit.

Obligation and honesty. We do not promise something we can’t execute and we aspire by 101% to fulfill our promises. Nevertheless, if a problem connected with the execution of this or that task emerges (not only because of our fault), we will inform our client beforehand. We expect client to behave the same way. Readiness to explain. We understand that our clients not always know much about China, logistics, foreign trade activities, custom registration of cargoes. We are always ready to explain strange terms, procedures, tell about reasons of this or that decision, ground due dates of work, cost, other conditions on client’s demand.
